Winter Drama Premieres on PBS NC

Helen and James from All Creatures Great and Small, Eliza from Miss Scarlet and The Duke and Barbara Parker from Funny Woman.

Get Ready for A Dramatic January!

There’s plenty of drama to keep us all cozy this January!

I know we're all excited for the return of James Herriot and his charming Scottish accent in season 4 of All Creatures Great & Small. With Tristen away, we've been left to wonder how his absence might change the house dynamic. Will James be called to service, or will he and Helen start a family?

There are more mysteries to be solved as Miss Scarlet & The Duke also returns for a fourth season. Eliza has taken over her father's company and shows no lack of resourcefulness and ingenuity in a world where crime meets cunning.

As someone who recently navigated the transition from small seaside town to new city, the premiere of Funny Woman has all my attention. After being crowned "Miss Blackpool," Barbara Parker is certain there has to be more to life than being a beauty queen. She packs her bags and heads off to London where she looks to take on the male-dominated world of comedy by storm. Bonus - this show is an aesthetic treat with the bright makeup and mod-style hair that defined the 60s.
