PBS North Carolina Livestreams Governor Cooper’s State of the State Address

PBS NORTH CAROLINA LIVESTREAMS GOVERNOR COOPER’S STATE OF THE STATE ADDRESS

MARCH 6, AT 7 PM, LIVE ON PBSNC.ORG

 

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, 02/28/23— PBS North Carolina will livestream Governor Roy Cooper’s State of the State address before a joint session of the North Carolina General Assembly on Monday, March 6, 2023, starting at 7 PM, online at pbsnc.org. The Republican response will air after Governor Cooper’s State of the State address, following a one-minute delay, as a continuation of the livestream.

Relevant information concerning station carriage and coverage of the address is as follows.

 

Start and End Times of the Broadcast

  • The broadcast will begin, live on television, at 19:01:00 PM.
  • The broadcast is scheduled to end at 20:00:00 PM.

 

Access to the Signal

TV stations may access the broadcast either (1) by livestream or (2) by rebroadcasting the signal of PBS NC or any of its satellite stations. (PBS NC has given consent to rebroadcast of its signals. A copy of the consent is available upon request.)

Radio stations may access the broadcast through the livestream. Please contact Greg Grissom with PBS North Carolina at ggrissom@pbsnc.org for further instructions.

 

Livestream Information

PBS NC will make available two streaming feeds for media distribution. The raw feeds will be available by 6:45 PM. Governor Cooper can be expected to enter the House chamber and walk down the center aisle at 7:01 PM. 

  • English feed with English language audio/captions
  • Spanish feed with Spanish language audio/Spanish captions

PBS NC will also be utilizing TVU, and LTN; UNCR-RDU-STATION-E1 for distribution for those networks that have such capability.
