Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy

Narrated by Broadway legend Joel Grey, this documentary explores the role of Jewish composers and lyricists in the creation of the modern American musical and showcases the work of some of the nation’s preeminent creators of musical theater including Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, George and Ira Gershwin, Lorenz Hart, Richard Rodgers, Oscar Hammerstein II, and more.

Lucy Worsley Investigates: The American Revolution

Lucy Worsley investigates one of history’s most explosive break-ups: the 18th century split between Britain and its 13 North American colonies. With access to expert insights and original evidence, Lucy explores the motivations behind the Americans’ will for independence; uncovers how the American Revolution affected Britain with sabotage, espionage, and political unrest reshaping the empire and asks whether this explosive break-up could have been avoided?

Josh Groban: An Evening at the Union Chapel 

Josh Groban returns to PBS in a special, personal concert staged in the intimate and historic setting of London’s Union Chapel. Recorded in October 2025, the concert captures the acclaimed vocalist showcasing his most beloved songs alongside new material, all reimagined within the chapel’s acoustics. Between songs, Groban speaks about what makes these songs personal to him.

Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday Celebration 

A star-studded music special celebrating the country legend’s milestone 90th birthday and his contributions to popular culture and music. Recorded live on Nelson’s 90th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, this historic concert features classics from the Nelson songbook with performances by Sheryl Crow, Snoop Dogg, Norah Jones, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Nelson himself.

The Highwaymen: Live at Nassau Coliseum  

Join Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson — "the Mt. Rushmore of country music" — for this live concert recorded in 1990. The Highwaymen perform classics like "Big River," “Folsom Prison Blues,” "Me and Bobby McGee" and "Always On My Mind." Recorded at the famous arena in Hempstead, Long Island.
