Summertime Sleuthing on PBS

A magnifying glass emoji to the left of "Summer Sleuthing" above a row of posters of the following PBS drama shows (L-R): Professor T, Bergerac, The Marlow Murder Club and Magpie Murders.

This August, enjoy an exciting new drama and beloved thrillers. Follow characters solving crimes in charming English towns and quiet coastal corners, where nothing stays hidden for long.

In the new series Bergerac, an early release on the PBS app with PBS NC Passport, a grieving detective navigates the sun-soaked island of Jersey. Also available as an early release with PBS NC Passport is the latest season of Professor T, in which a brilliant but unconventional professor lends his sharp mind to solve baffling cases.

For familiar favorites, catch up on season one of The Marlow Murder Club, which follows three unlikely friends turned amateur sleuths. Magpie Murders cleverly offers a mystery inside a mystery and is based on a bestselling book by Anthony Hurwitz. Both shows are available to stream for free this summer on the PBS app.
