From L-R: Ben Miller as Professor T, Alphy Kottaram played by Rishi Nair in Grantchester and Parminder Nagra as D.I. Rachita Ray.

Professor Prison, Trouble-Makers & Crime Families

Summer’s back and so are your favorite PBS dramas. School’s out but the brilliant Professor T is back in session, although his eye-opening lectures might be delivered from behind bars this season. Will he use his talents to solve a case from within prison walls, or will he find a way to break free and resume his unorthodox detective work?

Things are changing in Grantchester too, with a whole new batch of mysteries unfolding in the idyllic village. But that’s not all—a dreamy new vicar is shaking things up, adding a touch of romance (and maybe a dash of trouble?) to the mix.

D.I. Ray is back for a new season with rival crime families locked in a power struggle, threatening to erupt in violence. Can D.I. Ray navigate the dangerous landscape, untangle motives and bring justice before bloodshed engulfs the city?

With these sizzling season premieres, it’s the perfect time to ditch the heat and watch all-new episodes of your favorite dramas on PBS NC and the PBS App
